West Coast Avengers #7 1st Full Appearance of Jeff the Land Shark

In West Coast Avengers #7 (2019), the team deals with the fallout from Marvel Boy’s return while Gwenpool and the West Coast Avengers encounter a small but unforgettable new character — Jeff the Land Shark.

Jeff is introduced as a lovable baby land shark who becomes associated with Gwenpool and Kate Bishop. Although land sharks appeared briefly in the previous issue, this issue is considered the first full appearance and formal introduction of Jeff, who quickly became a fan-favorite Marvel character.
