THE SAGA OF THE ORIGINAL HUMAN TORCH 1

The issue retells the creation of the original Human Torch, an android built by scientist Professor Phineas T. Horton. When Horton unveils his creation, the android unexpectedly bursts into flames when exposed to air. Feared as a monster, the Torch is sealed away, but an accident frees him and allows him to discover that he can control his fiery abilities.
