In this classic issue, the comedic and famously inept barbarian continues his disastrous adventures. Following the events of the previous issue (where Groo accidentally complicated a siege on a city ruled by his sister, Grooella), Groo attempts to make things right.

Grooella's castle is completely surrounded and cut off by an invading army. Groo, armed with his twin katanas and oblivious overconfidence, sets out to single-handedly break the siege and save his sister's kingdom. Naturally, because Groo's "help" is usually worse than any invading army, his blundering efforts to be a hero bring a fresh wave of hilarious destruction and disaster to everyone involved—both friend and foe alike.
