Iron Man #5B Jung-Geun Yoon Vs Alien Variant VF 2021

Following their brutal initial encounter with the resurrected Michael Korvac, a battered Tony Stark and Patsy Walker (Hellcat) regroup in a makeshift hideout. Desperate to rescue a captive War Machine, Tony hastily assembles a ragtag team of B-list heroes—Gargoyle, Scarlet Spider, Misty Knight, Frog-Man, and Halcyon—to help track the cosmic threat. Exploiting his psychic link with Patsy, Korvac plunges her into a terrifying hallucination of Hell to lure her out and spring a trap for Tony. Iron Man confronts the villain, pouring the very last of his armor's reserves into a massive repulsor blast, but fails to stop him. The issue ends in tragedy as Korvac mercilessly kicks a completely drained Iron Man in the neck, fracturing Tony's spine and leaving him paralyzed and dying on the floor.
