In this reality, Tony Stark and Thor are fused into Sigurd Stark—a brilliant tech-billionaire plagued by amnesia, completely unaware he is actually a banished Asgardian god. Wandering through a freezing Norwegian storm, Sigurd is ambushed by Dark Elves, struck by a poisoned arrow, and captured by the villainous Krimson Kurse to exploit his technological genius. Thrown into a forge with a captive Dwarf weapon-smith named Eitri, the two conspire against a ticking clock to save Sigurd's life by building a suit of rune-inscribed armor powered by a newly forged cold-iron warhammer. Channeling the lightning, Sigurd dons the suit to become the Iron Hammer, bursting from the forge to turn the tables on his captors and battle the Krimson Kurse—only to tragically discover the villain beneath the mask is his vanished friend, Algrim Vanko, who has been twisted by the Elves' dark magic
